A 73-year-old woman has sadly died after being run over by her own car in a doctor's surgery car park in Leeds . The woman passed away at the scene in Kirkstall yesterday. West Yorkshire Police were called to the car park of Abbey Grange Medical Practice in Norman Street, Kirkstall, Leeds , at around 4.55pm. There, a 73-year-old woman had been hit by her own car, reports Leeds Live . Her Kia Picanto had been parked on a slight slope and rolled down onto her, knocking her over. She was pronounced as dead at the scene on October 29. A spokesperson said: "Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal collision in Leeds involving one vehicle. "Officers were called to the car park of Abbey Grange Medical Practice, Norman Street, Kirkstall at 4.55pm yesterday (29 October) to reports a 73-year-old woman had been in collision with her own vehicle. "It’s believed the vehicle a Kia Picanto was parked on a slight slope and has then rolled back knocking her over. Sadly, she was pronounced dead at the scene. "Officers are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time who may have witnessed this incident or who may have dash cam footage of the circumstances leading up to it to come forward."
