Witness describes moment two men were stabbed in horrific attack in Manchester club

An eyewitness has described the moment a club night descended into chaos that ended in a double stabbing. The men were rushed to hospital with 'serious injuries' after they were stabbed in Manchester. Police were called to Bilbrook Street at around 11.45pm following reports of the incident on Friday (October 31). The M.E.N. understands that they were both attending a Halloween themed event at the Nowhere night club on Burstock Street. One reveller, who preferred to remain anonymous, told the Manchester Evening News that they witnessed a brawl break out among a 'couple guys' who were holding knives, which left pools of blood on the floor. Join our Traffic and Travel WhatsApp group HERE Speaking to the M.E.N. , they said: "Music was playing and everyone was having a good time and to the left of the club a couple guys started to push each other and then it looked like they were punching but they actually were holding knives. "I only realised when we saw the amount of blood on the floor. Two groups of boys ran outside, and we didn’t see the rest." The attendee said that the event was shut down just 30 minutes after it had started. They claimed organisers initially told the crowd that they were having 'technical problems' before ending the night altogether. "Then said sorry but we’re cancelling the show. A lot of people didn’t see what happened and didn’t notice," he said. "As we were exiting a lot of police and ambulances turned up." A GMP spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a stabbing at Bilbrook Street at around 11.45pm. "Two males were taken to hospital with serious injuries. "Enquiries are ongoing."
