Currently, the airport is closed to flights from 10:30 pm to 6:30 am. This is due to ongoing maintenance work on the 2,754-meter-long runway, which began in February. Airport management says the runway work will be completed by December. After this, the airport will be operational 24 hours a day, and the number of flights will be able to exceed 100. The schedule of the Air India Express flight from Indore to Goa has also been changed. On Sunday, the flight departed Indore at 10:50 am and arrived in Goa at 12:35 pm. The flight’s destination airport in Goa has also changed. It will now land at Dabolim Airport, located in Central Goa, instead of Manohar Parrikar Airport.
