When Jerod Cole and his longtime colleague Kyle Rakestraw first began their careers as turbine technicians, they quickly realized that transparency was essential. "We saw projects where repair quality was declining and costs were rising," says Cole, CEO and Co-founder of Wind Revive Solutions. "You would get an initial quote and then a much higher invoice. It just didn't sit right with us." That frustration became the spark behind Wind Revive Solutions, a company founded to bring clarity, accountability, and care back into turbine maintenance and repair. From routine oil and filter changes to complex drivetrain and bearing replacements, the team handles a full spectrum of turbine upkeep, but with a distinct emphasis on communication and trust. "We wanted to build something different," says Kyle Rakestraw, Co-founder of Wind Revive Solutions. "Our goal from day one has been to bridge the transparency gap and ensure that when a client receives a report, they can actually see the before and after." To achieve that, every Wind Revive project includes detailed completion reports. Clients receive photographic documentation that shows the turbine's condition before work begins and after it's completed. According to Cole, the idea is to give operators confidence that what they are paying for is done properly, without any surprises on the invoice. Another noteworthy aspect of the company's model is its approach to labor support. Wind Revive provides staffing solutions for companies that find themselves short-handed during large projects, offering technicians who are already trained to the company's exacting standards. "We have done it both internally and externally," Cole explains. "If one of our team members can assist, we will send them; if not, we outsource others to help. The goal is always to make sure the work gets done safely and correctly." Those technicians are the company's greatest investment in many ways. "We expect a lot from our people. By paying well and maintaining a tight-knit culture, we create an environment where everyone takes real pride in their work," says RJ Hooper, CFO of Wind Revive Solutions. According to Cole, the culture of the company is characterized by solidarity and trust. Technicians communicate directly with leadership, often multiple times a day, ensuring that challenges are addressed in real time. "They know they can always reach Kyle or Jerod if something comes up," says Cole. "It removes frustration and helps keep morale high." For the company, teamwork and enjoyment on the job are central to their success. "We are proud of what we do," Cole remarks. "When you take pride in your work and are passionate about what you do, it truly shines through. Our teams travel together, they stay together, and they support one another." Wind Revive's clients include large wind farms, renewable energy corporations, and contractors seeking reliable partners. As the company continues to grow, the management remains focused on measured expansion and consistent quality. "You can't be better unless you continue to get better," Cole says. "Our goal is steady, safe growth, while always maintaining the standards that define us." At the heart of it all are two simple values that shape every decision: transparency and quality. Whether through an honest quote, a thorough job report, or direct access to the company's founders themselves, Wind Revive Solutions has built a reputation on straightforward communication and hands-on leadership. As Hooper says, "Our clients work directly with the people who own the company, and that makes all the difference."
