Vinicius Jr left Real Madrid boss Xabi Alonso out of his apology on purpose as the pair's ongoing feud continues. The Brazilian penned a lengthy statement to Real Madrid supporters on Wednesday following his outburst vs Barcelona . He was left furious after being substituted by Alonso and was reported to have said: "Me, it's always me, I'm leaving the team, it's better that I go.” He was also spotted storming straight down the tunnel without acknowledging his manager. Taking to social media days after his angry reaction, Vinicius said: “Today I want to apologise to all the Madridistas for my reaction when I was substituted in the Clasico. Just as I have already done in person during today’s training, I also want to apologise again to my teammates, the club, and the president. “Sometimes passion gets the better of me because I always want to win and help my team. My competitive character stems from the love I feel for this club and everything it represents. “I promise to keep fighting every second for the good of Real Madrid, as I have done since the first day.” Fans spotted that Alonso was a notable omission from the apology and it has now been revealed that his absence was intentional. According to The Athletic , the Brazilian winger left Alonso out after being left ‘hurt’ by the treatment that he has received from the Real Madrid boss. And while Vinicius is angry with his manager, it has been noted that he has felt the support from the club. It has also been suggested that Real Madrid chiefs are not particularly pleased with the situation, having been left unhappy with their star winger’s reaction and Alonso’s handling of the player.
