Why MTG Is Splitting From GOP, According To AOC

AOC Made A Shocking Claim About Why She Thinks Marjorie Taylor Greene Is Splintering From MAGA — "Here's Some Tea For You" "She has been on a revenge tour ever since." — AOC Hot Topic 🔥 Full coverage and conversation on Politics It's not an exaggeration to say that Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has been confusing the public these last few weeks. Recently, the (former?) Trump-loyal has been going viral for speaking against her party. One of the first splinters from fellow conservatives came in July when she called the war in Gaza a "genocide." In September, she supported a petition meant to force the Trump administration to release all documents related to Jeffrey Epstein. BuzzFeed TrendingHot Topic Let's chat about all things Politics See our Politics Discussions And this week, MTG appeared on The View, where she recounted "yelling" at House Speaker Mike Johnson over what she views as a lack of action on Republicans' part to create a healthcare plan to replace the Affordable Care Act. When co-host Sunny Hostin interjected, suggesting to Greene that, "Maybe there is no plan," Greene responded, "You know what? You want to know something? That, I believe, is the truth. There's a lot of ideas. There's a lot of bills. But there's no consensus, and I think that's a failure." Well, if you're wondering what caused this stray from loyalty, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has a theory. In an Instagram Livestream on Monday, the congressperson said she had some "tea for you" about MTG. AOC / instagram.com / Twitter: @allenanalysis "People are like, 'Oh my God, she's saying all these things. Like, what's gotten into her lately?'" AOC posed. "Marjorie Taylor Greene wanted to run for Senate in Georgia," AOC said. "She was gearing up for that state-wide race and Trump told her no." "Trump said, 'No,' and the White House and Trumpland shut down Marjorie Taylor Greene's personal ambitions to run for Senate." "She has been on a revenge tour ever since," AOC concluded. Video of AOC's statement was screenrecorded and shared to X (formerly known as Twitter), where it's recieved nearly two million views. What's your take? Let us know in the comments.
