Alyson Stoner is always ready to rock.
The Disney Channel alum — who played Caitlyn in 2008’s “Camp Rock” and 2010’s “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” — revealed whether they will be returning for “Camp Rock 3,” which is being executive produced by fellow original cast members Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers.
“I haven’t heard anything beyond that,” Stoner said Sept. 20 — three days after the film was announced — during a panel at the 2025 Teen Vogue Summit, “but that sounds exciting.”
The 32-year-old also shared they hadn’t been staying totally up to date on the plot of the new installment, which will also see Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas briefly reprise their roles as the band Connect 3 as they return to camp to “discover the next big thing,” per the Sept. 17 press release. However, Stoner guessed correctly when it came to the general theme of the movie, which will follow the lives of new campers as they “vie for the chance to open for their favorite brand.”
“I’m guessing it’ll be maybe similar to what they did with “High School Musical,” where maybe they introduce a new generation,” the “Cheaper by the Dozen” alum said. “That’s what I’m assuming. But cool. Sounds great.”
While Stoner shared that founding their mental health company Movement Genius has kept them pretty booked, the dancer did quip that they wouldn’t be opposed to helping out with the film, adding, “Let me know if you need a coordinator on set.”
However, it seems filming is already in full swing, as Nick recently shared that he celebrated his 33rd birthday on set with his brothers and wife Priyanka Chopra.
