'Whoever is operating this…': When Trump had to deliver his speech at the UN without a teleprompter

APUS President Donald Trump repeatedly urged pregnant women to avoid using Tylenol.

US President Donald Trump addressed the United Nations today for the first time since returning to the White House—but his speech got off to a rocky start. As soon as Trump began speaking, the teleprompter malfunctioned. In his signature style, he quipped, “I don’t mind making this speech without a teleprompter, because the teleprompter is not working… I can only say whoever is operating this teleprompter is in big trouble.”He also lamented that the escalator at the venue wasn’t working.Standing in front of top U.N. officials, before more than 150 world leaders, Trump also blasted the international organization. He said they didn’t reach out to him on the various wars he says he has brought to a conclusion. He claimed that he had ended seven wars “instead of the United Nations.”At the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), US President Donald Trump said, “In a period of just seven months, I have ended seven unendable wars. This includes Cambodia and Thailand, Kosovo and Serbia, Congo and Rwanda, Pakistan and India, Israel and Iran, Egypt and Ethiopia, and Armenia and Azerbaijan…” Live Events“I’ve always said the U.N. has such tremendous, tremendous potential. But it’s not even coming close to living up to that potential,” Trump said. “For the most part, at least for now, all they seem to do is write a really strongly worded letter and then never follow that letter. It’s empty words and empty words don’t solve war.”Trump also bragged that the U.S. is “the hottest country anywhere in the world, and there is no other country even close.”And he claimed the U.S. is “respected again” like never before.Trump also raised the immigration topic. He said that European countries are ‘going to hell’ because of migration and exhorted others to learn from his administration. He also accused the UN of aiding illegal migration.Add as a Reliable and Trusted News Source Add Now!
