Somehow, despite being backed in a corner the past few weeks, the “closet alliance” has persisted in The Challenge: Vets & New Threats. Aneesa Ferreira Jake Cornish Aneesa Ferreira has had one of her most difficult political and social seasons in recent memory. While the most tenured vet was able to remain safe for the entirety of the game, tempers flared frequently between her and the other alums. She and Ashley Mitchell exchanged a series of low blows, and when Aneesa was infuriated Nany González, did not support her, it led to another argument between the former allies. As a result, Aneesa moved out of her room, officially locking herself in with Olivia Kaiser and the Closet Alliance. Unfortunately, this week, her and Jake Cornish were the only team in their alliance eligible to be nominated. While Aneesa tried to appeal to Nany to avoid getting voted in, the consequences of playing both sides finally came back to bite her. Her and Jake became yet another victim of the elimination royalty this season in Theo Campbell and Adrienne Naylor. Who won the daily challenge in The Challenge: Vets & New Threats Season 41 tonight? Olivia Kaiser Will Gagnon This week’s daily challenge had the duos sharing the load. While one unwrapped a bunch of heavy chains from a car, the other would drive said car through a series of obstacles to reduce their total time. Olivia and Will have been one of the most fractured teams left, outright refusing to communicate with each other in challenges. It turned out that all they needed was a daily where they didn’t need to talk to each other at all! Despite Olivia flipping her car, her and Will took home the victory, along with safety. Related: Everything to Know About The Challenge Season 41 Theo’s listening issues continue Despite their proficiency in elimination, a runner throughout the second half of the season has been the difficult dynamic between Theo and Adrienne. Consistently, he refuses to listen to her, often times leading to their demise. This came to a head this week, when, despite multiple warnings from Adrienne and production themselves, Theo continued to help her with the chain. As a result, they were immediately DQ’d from the daily and sent yet again into the sand. And, during the elimination, it seemed the trend would continue, as Theo kept doing his own thing without listening to Adrienne. It took him getting absolutely gassed for him to finally open his ears, as she was able to single-handedly carry their team to victory. Who’s left in the game on The Challenge: Vets & New Threats Season 41? Adrienne Naylor Aviv Melmed Cedric Hodges Justin Hinsley Michaela Bradshaw Nany González Olivia Kaiser Sydney Segal Theo Campbell Turabi “Turbo” Çamkıran Will Gagnon Yeremi Hykel
