Rapper THF Bay Zoo, whose real name was Devonshe Collier, was reportedly among three people shot in Chicago’s Little Village neighbourhood on Saturday. The shooting occurred around 3 pm in a parking lot on the 3100 block of South St. Louis Avenue, ABC7 Eyewitness News reported. Bay Zoo, 35, and two other men aged 39 and 42, were in the parking lot when an armed suspect approached them in an unknown vehicle and opened fire. According to ABC7, Bay Zoo was shot multiple times and taken to Mt Sinai Hospital in critical condition. Local Chicago hip-hop outlet WTW reported that sources close to the family had confirmed his death. Fellow rapper Doodie Lo paid tribute on Instagram, writing: “MY BFF MY BRUDDA MY DAWG TAUGHT ME ALOT THIS ONE HURT WOP MAN EVERYBODY KNOW OUR RELATIONSHIP.
