Veteran actor Satish Shah, known for his legendary performances in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai and Main Hoon Na, passed away on October 25, 2025, at the age of 74 due to kidney failure. The heartbreaking news was confirmed by filmmaker Ashoke Pandit, leaving the entertainment industry in mourning. While tributes pour in for the beloved actor, many are also remembering his wife, Madhu Shah, who stood by him through every chapter of his life. According to reports, Madhu Shah is a designer by profession who has always preferred to stay away from the public eye. Despite her husband’s fame, she maintained a low profile, focusing on her creative pursuits and private life. However, his initial proposal was turned down. Undeterred, he continued to pursue her, convinced that she was the one. He proposed again on the sets of Saath Saath (1982), starring Farooque Shaikh and Deepti Naval but Madhu rejected him once more. Not one to give up, Satish proposed a third time. This time, Madhu asked him to approach her parents. After he managed to win their approval with his sincerity, the couple got engaged and tied the knot eight months later, in 1972. Their marriage lasted over five decades, a rare and enduring bond in the entertainment industry. The couple chose not to have children, finding fulfillment in their companionship and shared life together.
