The PGA Tour will head to Mexico for the World Wide Technology Championship 2025 the upcoming weekend. The historic event, launched as the PGA Tour’s first official venture outside the United States and Canada, will see a stacked 120-player field teeing up at the Tiger Woods-designed El Cardonal at Diamante in Los Cabos from November 6-9.The sixth event of the 2025 FedExCup Fall Series will see several PGA Tour regulars compete to earn crucial FedExCup points and secure their Tour status for 2026 after the Playoffs end. The contest will have several big-names from the Top 70 from last season’s FedExCup standings tee up. They will be joined by 29 Tour winners from the past two seasons including the likes of Rafael Campos, Nick Dunlap, Ben Griffin, Emiliano Grillo and Mackenzie Hughes, among others.The Tour will travel to Mexico after a week’s break following the Bank of Utah Championship outing in Ivins. Interestingly, the event winner Michael Brennan, winning the title in his pro debut, will join the World Wide Technology Championship field in Mexico. The Diamante outing will be the 23-year-old’s first since officially accepting the PGA Tour invite.For the unversed, Austin Eckroat won the Mexican event last year, his first of two PGA Tour titles, after beating Justin Lower and Carson Young. The 26-year-old returns this weekend to defend his World Wide Technology Championship title.
