Yesterday, a memorial was held for Charlie Kirk in Glendale, Arizona. President Trump attended and gave a speech.
During the event, the White House shared an image of the president standing in front of the crowd on their official Twitter (X) account with the caption, “This is the turning point.”
Commenters were quick to reply, pointing out the black and white image’s resemblance to this one taken in 1933:

This isn’t the first time that people have suggested a link between this administration’s policies and imagery and Nazi propaganda. Previously, folks have mentioned an event at the White House featuring Tesla, likened migrant detention centers to concentration camps, compared ICE to the Gestapo, and referenced this political rally held at Madison Square Garden prior to the election last year.
And once again, they did not hold back in making a connection on the visuals. “Same vibes,” said one person.
“This was their turning point.”
“Fourth Reich incoming.”
“This ain’t even a dog whistle, it’s a train horn.”
“i was looking through some old photos, and it looks very, uh… similar.”
And finally, “History repeats itself.”
