For some context, the area planned for the ballroom is right here, off the East Wing: Well, even though President Trump previously said in July the ballroom wouldn't "interfere with the current building," yesterday afternoon, bulldozers began demolishing part of the East Wing's facade as construction continued. "No president should have the authority to bulldoze an entire section of the fucking White House," one person said.
