However, the Tigers might need to maneuver the showdown without one of their key defensive players.According to Pete Nakos, star LSU linebacker Whit Weeks is listed as doubtful for the game. Weeks is dealing with an ankle injury and hasn't played since Oct. 11 against the South Carolina Gamecocks.The Tigers lost both games that Weeks missed, and it ultimately marked the end of former head coach Brian Kelly's tenure. The team sorely missed the 2024 first-team All-SEC LB.Weeks has been impressive while on the Gridiron this season. He's amassed a stat line of 29 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and one sack. His status for the crunch Week 11 showdown will be clearer on game day.Alabama favorites against LSU in Week 11The Alabama Crimson Tide enters the game with a 7-1 record. They're are favorites in this SEC showdown against the 5-3 LSU Tigers.This will mark interim coach Frank Wilson's first time in charge of the LSU Tigers. Kalen DeBoer's side hasn't lost since their surprise Week 1 defeat to the Florida State Seminoles.
