Whether Samsung Approves or Not, Amazon Drops the New Galaxy Watch 8 to Its Lowest Price Yet for Prime Day

Whether Samsung Approves or Not, Amazon Drops the New Galaxy Watch 8 to Its Lowest Price Yet for Prime Day

It can cost a pretty penny to put a brand-new smartwatch on your wrist. But if you’ve been eyeing the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8, we’ve found a nice discount that lets you grab it for less.
Amazon has knocked the price down to $315, which is $35 off the usual price. It’s not a massive discount, but considering how this is the latest version, any savings this early are worth noting. All color options are discounted, but the Watch 8 Classic is priced a bit higher than the standard version.

Minimal Design, Impressive Health Features
This 2025 model comes in a minimalist build, even slimmer and lighter than the previous generation. The 1.47-inch screen size is sufficient to comfortably view your stats and manage notifications, but it still doesn’t feel too bulky to wear.
Health and fitness features get a boost, too. Beyond the basics (health rate monitoring, activity tracking, etc), there’s advanced sleep coaching that keeps an eye on how well you rest at night, and even offers bedtime guidance to help you figure out the best time to call it a night. You get an Energy Score first thing in the morning, which measures your body’s physical and mental readiness by taking different factors into account. These can include how well you slept, your activity levels from the previous day, and more.
The Watch 8 also tracks your vascular load to provide insights into your stress levels and what might be causing them. There are a bunch of fitness features as well, like a Running Coach that offers real-time feedback on your performance. This specific version connects to your phone via Bluetooth, and once it’s paired, you will be able to view and manage notifications easily. It also lets you keep tabs on weather, reminders, news and more.
Google Gemini support means having an efficient personal assistant right on your wrist. No need to pull your phone out every time you need to check your to-do list or ask a basic question. The battery life is impressive, too. Most of it depends on how you use the watch, but expect it to last at least a few days.
This deal brings the price of the watch to $315, after a respectable $35 discount. Since it’s a fairly new model, we are not expecting massive offers on it anytime soon. Grab it for less while you can.
