The Detroit Red Wings wrap up their preseason schedule on Saturday night when they play host to the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The Red Wings gear up for a 2025-26 season that many hope will be an improvement after what was another frustrating campaign last year. The team returns most of its core, featuring Patrick Kane, Alex DeBrincat, and captain Dylan Larkin, along with some new faces. The most notable addition was that of goaltender John Gibson, who is expected to bring some stability between the pipes.
RED WINGS STREAMING OPTIONS
There are some expectations that the team should be able to at least challenge for a playoff spot, if not more. However, Detroit needs to find consistency if it wants to end the team’s nine-year playoff drought.
The Wings have been solid this preseason, but get set for a couple of games against the Maple Leafs, a team looking to contend for a division title once again.
