About “Survivor”
Joff Probst both hosts and executive produces the long-running reality series, “Survivor.” Throughout the show, 18 contestants find themselves stranded on the islands of Fiji, where they are split into competing tribes that repeatedly face off for immunity, or risk elimination.
Tonight, the two-hour season 49 premiere welcomes the new castaways, joining them as they size up their fellow cast members and begin to work out potentially $1 million prize-winning strategies. Alongside the title of Sole Survivor, also being awarded this season are two coveted spots on the “Survivor 50” cast, which features fan-favorites and winners from previous iterations of the show.
Watch the “Survivor” season 49 premiere Wednesday at 8/7c on CBS.
