Two of the NFC’s most proven contenders take the field Sunday in Santa Clara, Calif., where the San Francisco 49ers host a pivotal West Division clash with the Los Angeles Rams. Jones has played the best football of his career in Purdy’s place and comes off his best single-game completion percentage of the season (79.2%) with 235 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-24 win over the New York Giants.
