Yankees vs. Blue Jays: The matchup
Aaron Judge showed up big for the Yanks in Tuesday’s Game 3, going 3-for-4 at the plate with four RBIs, three runs and a game-tying three-run homer that helped New York overcome a 6-1 deficit en route to a 9-6 win. Judge’s homer came in the bottom of the fourth to knot the game at 6-6, and Jazz Chisholm Jr. delivered a go-ahead blast the next inning to give the Yankees their first lead of the series. New York’s bullpen also delivered an impressive performance after starter Carlos Rodon was chased in the third inning, with give relievers combining to pitch 6.2 scoreless innings.

The Yankees are betting favorites (-185) following the Game 3 win, and they get set to ride the big right arm of rookie right-hander Cam Schlittler (4-3, 2.96 ERA), who struck out 12 Boston Red Sox hitters in eight shutout innings in the AL Wild Card round in his first career postseason start. Schlittler will go head-to-head with Blue Jays lefty Louis Varland (1-0, 4.94 ERA), a reliever who made one start in the regular season.
