Boise State rolled past Appalachian State last weekend (47-14) behind a balanced offensive showing that produced 473 total yards and 25 first downs. Quarterback Maddux Madsen was sharp, completing 25 of 37 passes for 321 yards and four touchdowns without a turnover, averaging 8.7 yards per attempt. The ground game was led by Sire Gaines (12 carries, 69 yards) and Malik Sherrod (9 carries, 49 yards), while Dylan Riley added 46 yards on 16 carries to help the Broncos control the clock with nearly 38 minutes of possession. Defensively, the Broncos forced four turnovers and kept Appalachian State to just 65 passing yards.
