The UEFA Champions League, formerly known as the European Cup, is a time-honored tournament where the best teams across the continent come together to determine who the best club in Europe is.
Barcelona is once again looking to prove its value as one of the best clubs in the world. The club won the La Liga championship for the second time in three years in 2024-25, advancing to the UCL semifinals for the first time in five years before falling to Inter Milan in the semifinals.
The Spanish superpower started off on the right foot last month, outlasting fellow English Premier League side Newcastle United with a 3-2 win.
Arsenal, one of the favorites to snag the EPL title this season, took care of business in its first match of the league phase, beating La Liga side Athletic Club Bilbao, 2-0.
Barcelona is 6-2-1 agaisnt Arsenal, including beating the Gunners in their last meeting the Round of 16 during the 2015-16 UCL season.
