The Putrefied Ducts isn’t the worst or largest area in Hollow Knight: Silksong, but the map of the area can be tricky to find. You can get it fairly early in Act 2, thankfully, and having it mapped can give you a bit of perspective on where you are in the hellworld that is Bilewater. How to get the Putrefied Ducts map in Hollow Knight: Silksong You can only get the Putrefied Ducts map by entering the area from the west, via a hidden passage in the Memorium zone. To reach Memoriam, you first need the double jump Faydown Cloak, then you need to travel west from the Songclave in the upper right section of the Choral Chambers. You’ll eventually reach a gap in the ceiling where the surfaces are covered in moss. Double jump up into Memorium and go east past the resting bench. Continue until you reach what seems to be a dead end. Jump up into the ripped, hanging cloth near the middle of the dead-end room’s ceiling to reveal a hidden path leading further east. If you’ve taken the Lost Merchant Wish from Songclave, you’ll be able to track Jubilana through this secret passage. Drop down onto the large bridge, clearing the flying enemies for Jubilana if necessary. When you reach the other end, you’ll need to do some precision jumping to cling onto the overhang and up onto the pathway leading further east. Beware the spike pit just beyond the bridge area. When you do reach the Putrefied Ducts, continue making your way east until you reach a tall chamber. Traverse down through the area until you reach the first doorway leading left. Go to the westernmost section of the room, left of the tall chamber, and jump up, allowing the tentacle to grab you and carry you upward. Break free of the tentacle by attacking four times, but not before you’ve cleared the walls of spikes. It’s a short trip east from the tentacle climb to find the map of the Putrefied Ducts.
