COLUMBUS, Ohio -- I don’t believe three-loss teams should make the College Football Playoff. At least not as long as we field 12 teams. Often, three losses — especially for Power 4 teams — provide all the information needed to know whether a team is capable of winning a national title because those losses often fit into one of two categories. Either you lose to another playoff-caliber team, or you lose to a team you had no business losing to. The latter provides proof you probably aren’t one, especially if multiple losses fit that category. It’s not unreasonable to say that, outside of a year where things went so haywire in a conference that even its eventual winner finished the season 9-3, winning 10 regular-season games should be a bare minimum entry fee. Especially if you’re coming into November having already lost three times. With that being said, here’s a look at my ballot after Week 11:
