It is set to be a windy and rainy day across Greater Manchester on Monday as the Met Office has issued a severe weather warning affecting large parts of the country. A yellow wind warning remains in place until 6pm on Monday (September 15) after coming into effect at 8pm on Sunday (September 14), covering Greater Manchester along with nine UK regions. Winds will only slowly ease from the west later in the afternoon and into Monday evening.” Met Office precipitation maps show scattered rain across the UK throughout the day, with a consistent flow of rain over Manchester.
