When to Celebrate Dev Deepawali and Offer Arghya to the Moon The day of Kartik Purnima is not only highly auspicious in a religious sense but is also marked by the grand celebration of Dev Deepawali. According to the Hindu calendar, the most favourable time, or Pradosh Kaal, for Dev Deepawali this year will be from 5:15 pm to 7:50 pm on November 5, 2025. During these two and a half hours, devotees can perform worship and light lamps in a proper and ritualistic manner. It is believed that during this time, the gods manifest their divine presence on earth, making any religious act performed then especially fruitful.There is also great significance in worshipping and Arghya to the Moon on Kartik Purnima.This year, moonrise will occur at 5:11 pm.
