Channel 4 is set to dig into Taylor Swift’s meteoric rise to stardom in an exciting new docuseries. The broadcaster will air Taylor: The Star Who Changed The World in just a few days, and it’s expected to be a treat for devoted Swifties . Prior to its launch, Channel 4’s commissioning editor Shaminder Nahal revealed why Swift proved the perfect focus for the two-part documentary. Nahal said: “Her journey has been nothing short of epic, and we’re keen for this series reflect all the joy and artistry, the heartbreaks and high stakes, of her stunning career, while also showing viewers sides of Taylor Swift that they might not know or expect.” So when can audiences watch and what does the two-part programme cover? Here’s all you need to know, reports the Mirror . Swifties mark your calendars as Taylor: The Star Who Changed The World is scheduled to debut on Channel 4 this Tuesday, September 30th at 9:15pm. Both instalments will launch on Tuesday and will be available to stream via Channel 4’s catch-up platform. Featuring contributions from musicians, entertainment experts and loyal supporters, the two-part programme examines Swift’s decades-long career. Amongst those featured is digital creator Niamh Adkins, who discusses the profound influence the superstar has had on her life. Other devoted Swifties, including one who first met the pop star back in 2003, share candid insights about their unwavering loyalty to the American superstar. The programme also features personal stories from Swift’s former bandmate Emily Poe Stumler, whoserved as her fiddle player between 2006 and 2007. Additionally, viewers will learn the truth reality behind Swift’s notorious public disputes throughout the years – from her feuds with Kanye West to her recent conflict with music mogul Scooter Braun. The official synopsis states: “Taylor will dig deep across the musician’s 20-year career, a period that has seen her transcend the realm of pop star to become a cultural icon like no other. “Through interviews with high-profile commentators, industry insiders and fans, the documentary examines the forces that have shaped her trajectory and the devoted community she has inspired.” It continues: “Rare archive will reveal fresh insights into Taylor and her story as the series charts her journey from ambitious teen with towering dreams to one of the most influential and scrutinised figures of our time.” Taylor premieres on Channel 4 this Tuesday 30th September at 9:15pm.
