Selling Sunset viewers hoping for a resolution after season 9 will have to wait until the reunion. Netflix released the newest batch of episodes on Wednesday, October 29, with Chrishell Stause, Mary Bonnet, Jason Oppenheim, Brett Oppenheim, Amanza Smith, Emma Hernan, Chelsea Lazkani, Nicole Young, Bre Tiesi, Alanna Gold and Sandra Vergara returning to the Oppenheim Group. After the season came to an end, there appeared to be more division taking place off screen. Netflix is addressing some of the drama on Wednesday, November 5, when the cast will sit down to hash out their biggest issues. Queer Eye’s Tan France will be hosting the reunion again, which comes after Nicole’s shocking exit from the show. Nicole, 39, was put on pause when she made a controversial comment about Chrishell’s late parents. After being asked not to come back to the agency, Nicole made the move to Nashville before season 9 came to an end. “I had a call with production two days ago during which they told me I have absolutely not been fired from the cast but they chose to pause my filming schedule until next week in order to protect me from situations on set that had become very contentious,” Nicole told Us Weekly in a statement in January when news broke about her not filming with the rest of the cast. “I’m still debating whether or not I want to continue filming in this kind of environment, especially with so many infuriating double standards.” Nicole added: “Selling Sunset has been a great opportunity and a wild ride, but it is not my life or identity. I have a big, beautiful life outside of the show…and thankfully in the real world, my life and personality can’t be edited or misconstrued to portray me negatively to fit into a produced storyline.” Nicole reunited with her costars at the Netflix special — but wasn’t thrilled by the experience. “I sit in my trailer so long that I watch four movies… they finally bring me out to set, they sit me down and they want me to address one specific instance. So I do. And then, the moderator goes, ‘OK, thanks Nicole, it was great to see you,’” she claimed via TikTok in August. “I really, just, never experienced a situation where it was so obvious that the intent was to not give me the opportunity to speak. Unreal. But you know what? Sometimes you just have to recognize things that no longer serve you. And this is one of them.” The season 9 reunion also comes after the cast didn’t sit down to address their issues one season prior due to too much animosity. At the time, Chelsea, 32, Emma, 33, and Chrishell, 34, were at odds with Nicole for claiming Emma slept with a married man. There was also Chelsea and Bre, 34, who didn’t get off on the right foot. Chelsea rubbed Bre the wrong way in season 6 when she questioned her home life with Nick Cannon. Bre, who welcomed son Legendary with Cannon in June 2022, defended her unconventional relationship. Chelsea attempted to make amends with Bre when they filmed season 7, but the pair were still talking out their issues while filming the reunion months later. Bre was subsequently accused of bringing her friend Amanda Lynn around onscreen as a way to intentionally out Chelsea’s husband Jeff Lazkani‘s alleged infidelity, which ultimately led to their split. By the time season 8 aired, multiple cast members threatened to walk away from the show if they had to film with certain people. It remains unclear whether Selling Sunset will return for a season 10. Selling Sunset is currently streaming on Netflix.
