The State Bank of India (SBI) is expected to announce the SBI PO Mains result 2025 in either September or October, as per the advertisement. Candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to check their qualifying status on the official website: sbi.co.in. SBI conducted PO prelims on August 2, 4, and 5, 2025, and the results were announced on September 1, 2025. Candidates who qualified in the exam were eligible to appear for the Mains on September 13, 2025. How to Check SBI PO Mains Result 2025 Follow these steps to access your scorecard: Visit the official website: sbi.co.in.Navigate to the Careers section.Click on the SBI PO Mains Result 2025 link.Enter your login credentials and click on Submit.Download the scorecard and keep it safe for future reference. Selection Criteria Check out the SBI PO mains selection criteria below: a) Sectional Cut-off Each candidate will have to score a minimum score in each test (i.e. Test I, II, III, IV & Descriptive paper individually) in Main Examination.Depending on the number of vacancies available, sectional cut offs will be decided. b) Minimum Aggregate Qualifying Score Category-wise merit list will be drawn on the basis of the aggregate marks scored in Main Examination. Candidates numbering up to 3 times (approx.) of the category wise vacancies will be shortlisted for Phase-III from the top of the category wise merit list subject to a candidate scoring the minimum aggregate qualifying score, as decided by the Bank. Penalty for Wrong & Unanswered Questions Wrong answer: ¼ mark deducted per question.No answer: No penalty. What’s Next? Candidates who are shortlisted after Phase II, i.e., Mains, will be subsequently called for Phase III (i.e., Psychometric Test, Group Exercise & Interview). Additionally, SBI can conduct document verification at any stage (i.e., during preliminary exam / main exam / psychometric test / group exercise / interview / medical / joining, etc.). “Selected candidates may be offered appointment in the Bank subject to their completing other formalities such as verification of credentials, certificates, satisfactory reports from the references, medical examination, and verification of antecedents, etc.,” the official notice reads.
