Utah’s most famous moms are back for a third season of their reality TV show. All 10 episodes of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” will drop on Hulu on Thursday. Ahead of the new season’s release, here’s a look back at how the second season ended for each of the moms: Taylor Frankie Paul • Where she left off: After a tumultuous season navigating her relationship or lack thereof with Dakota Mortensen — and single parenthood — Frankie Paul ended the second season by having a blowout fight with Demi Engemann over Engemann’s ploy to kick Frankie Paul out of the group. • Friends: All of Momtok, though Whitney Leavitt is considered an acquaintance. • Rivals: Demi. Jessie Ngatikaura • Where she left off: After going through some health scares and feeling betrayed by Engemann, Ngatikaura’s arc in the second season ends on an insane cliffhanger: that she allegedly had an affair with Marciano Brunette of “Vanderpump Villa.” • Friends: All of MomTok. • Rivals: Demi. Jennifer Affleck • Where she left off: After a tough first season, Affleck tries to repair her relationship with her husband, Zac, but that proves to be tricky. Dealing with the complexities of her life alongside depression during pregnancy leads to an early exit for her from the second season. • Friends: Everyone, though she’s on a break. • Rivals: Demi, Jessi. Whitney Leavitt • Where she left off: After spending most of Season 2 trying to come back from her villain role, Leavitt was officially voted back into MomTok in the last episode of season. • Friends: Demi, Miranda McWhorter. • Rivals: Mikayla Matthews. Mikayla Matthews • Where she left off: In Season 2, Matthews became more of a main character in the show. She opened up about child sexual abuse she went through and was open about her distaste of Leavitt. • Friends: All of MomTok. • Rivals: Whitney. Demi Engemann • Where she left off: Move over, Whitney, because there’s a new villain in town. Engemann spends much of Season 2 advocating for the removal of Frankie Paul from MomTok and treating some of the others badly, resulting in nobody having her back in the end. • Friends: Whitney. • Rivals: Taylor. Mayci Neeley • Where she left off: Neeley is one of the moms who stays on the sidelines when the intense moments happen. But in Season 2, she confronted some painful trauma in her life, which she explores in depth in her recently released memoir, “Told You So.” • Friends: All of MomTok. • Rivals: None, though she’s wary of Whitney. Layla Taylor • Where she left off: Similar to Matthews, Taylor became a central part of the show in the second season, and not just because she facilitated the cliffhanger at the end. • Friends: Everyone. • Rivals: Possibly Demi. Miranda McWhorter • Where she left off: Though McWhorter wasn’t in the explosive MomTok meeting in the last episode of Season 2, she was a topic of conversation. Many of the MomTok moms kept her at arm’s length, suspicious of her sudden want to be involved in the content creator group. • Friends: Whitney, Demi.
