What to know about the Savannah Bananas’ 2026 World Tour

The Savannah Bananas have become one of the hottest commodities in sports, but they’re about to take a giant leap forward next year.
That’s because the iconic team, who sold out stadiums all across the United States and launched multiple other franchises, will be creating a brand new league for their 2026 season, with multiple new teams and with a season-long race to determine the best Banana Ball team in the country.
The big announcement will not only feature the two new teams, but will also feature the team’s ambitious 2026 schedule, which will once again crisscross the country and bring Banana Ball to the masses.
Here’s everything to know about Thursday’s announcement.
What time will the show start?
According to the Bananas, the show will get underway at 5:30 p.m. Central time on Thursday.
Where will the show air?
Bananas fans can watch the show on the team’s YouTube channel, but it will also air on national television for the first time ever.
The show will air live on ESPN 2, and will also stream via ESPN-Plus and Disney-Plus, according to the team.
What is expected to be announced?
The Savannah Bananas will launch a new program in 2026 called the Banana Ball Championship League, which will feature six teams playing 60 games each.
In addition to the Bananas, the Party Animals, the Firefighters and the Texas Tailgaters, there will be two new teams announced on Thursday night to compete in the newly formed league.
Finally, the Bananas will announce all of the cities that they plan to visit during their 2026 world tour, with last year’s tour including football stadiums for the first time.
The Bananas also made their debut in numerous major cities, including in Chicago when they played two sold-out games at Rate Field.
When can fans buy tickets?
According to an email sent out by the Bananas this week, fans will be able to enter the team’s ticket lottery beginning after the selection show concludes on Thursday night.
That lottery will remain open until Friday, October 31, according to the team.
Fans who are chosen via the lottery will be given the chance to purchase tickets to a game of their choice, though fans are not guaranteed that opportunity, according to the Bananas.
