As you explore the world of ARC Raiders, you’re bound to come across some objects you can carry, with no good indication of what to do with them. Thankfully, the answer is simple, and the reward is a few pieces of juicy loot. What to do with the item you can carry in ARC Raiders The carriable item you can find in ARC Raiders is called a Field Crate, and it’s filled with supplies like ammo, grenades, mines, and meds. To get to the goodies inside, you need to take it to a Field Depot, which is always within a short walk of where you find the Crate You’ll know the Field Depot by its long, rounded shape and the blue, tattered fabric hanging from its sides. There’s a device inside an active Depot where you can insert the Crate, and if you’re holding it, the device will display a blue hologram of the Crate where you can place it. Placing the Field Crate will cause the device to close. Then, after a few seconds, you’ll be able to interact with the cabinet on the right side of the device to get your loot. Beware that placing a Field Crate in its slot in a Depot will make a lot of noise for the few seconds it takes for the device to open it. That sound is a clarion call to any enemy Raiders nearby, as the sound carries for a good 50 meters or more. Don’t stand next to the device while it opens the Crate. Instead, stay mobile and far enough away from the device that you can hear footsteps or other audio cues that indicate you’re about to get into a fight. You’ll also want to be quick about looting the Field Crate supplies, as the Depot acts like a killbox with only one way out if there’s an enemy at the other end. I’ve caught other Raiders with full backpacks at a Field Depot, and I've been caught myself at the same place. Like everything in ARC Raiders, loot the carriable Field Crate items at your own risk.
