Colorado’s beloved Poet Laureate Andrea Gibson, who passed away from cancer in July, is paid tribute in the film “Come See Me in the Good Light,” which celebrates Gibson’s fearless voice, and it screens at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Chautauqua Auditorium, 100 Morning Glory Drive, Boulder; $7.65 (proceeds to benefit National Ovarian Cancer Coalition). Local legend
Grammy-winning producer and musician Jim Guercio founded the famed Caribou Ranch recording studio in Nederland decades ago, which was a favorite spot for too many artists to list, and Guercio, who calls Boulder County home, will tell tales from his life during eTown’s Talk of the Town event from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at eTown Hall, 1535 Spruce St., Boulder; $15; etown.org.
