Juventus return to the grand European stage looking to reassert themselves, and what better test than the dangerous Borussia Dortmund.

It has been quite a while since the Old Lady have done anything of note in the UEFA Champions League. They last won the tournament in 1996, reaching the final in each of the next two years in what was a golden period for the iconic club.

They last reached a final in 2017, where they ran into the juggernaut of that great Real Madrid team led by Cristiano Ronaldo.

Dortmund’s recent history has seen them reach the final in 2024, where they were dispatched by, you guessed it, Real Madrid at Wembley.
