What happened to service and business standards?

In speaking to others, I’ve found that I’m not the only person who constantly experiences too many instances of a decline in business standards. There was a time when competency and professionalism existed. There were very few such situations as the following examples. Employees who fail to mail the correct forms for individuals to complete. Do employees realize this is time-consuming when we have to call to correct such matters? Personnel who relay information; such as, indicating reimbursements will be made for certain situations; however, after submitting the necessary information and details along with a copy of a receipt of payment, no reimbursement is allowed. Experiencing employees who work from home while the public must hear children in the background as well as dogs barking. Where is the professionalism and accountability? It’s important for companies/agencies to address such problems if they expect to maintain credibility. Deveria A. Berry, Bloomfield
