It’s back to business for Russell Martin as he looks to win back to back games for the first time as Rangers boss. Europe has been better to the boss than the action at home and their Premier Sports Cup victory was the first domestic triumph of the season – with Livingston next up in the Premiership. But before Martin looks to secure his first league victory of the campaign – with the Glasgow giants sitting in 11th spot in the table – they start their Europa League journey. First up it’s Genk in the league phase – and Martin knows all too well the danger Belgian sides can pose in European competition having been thumped 9-1 on aggregate by Club Brugge in the Champions League playoff. The visitors have struggled so far this season – and make their way to Scotland without a win in their last four and sitting in the Pro League relegation spots.
