What channel is Celtic v Motherwell on? TV, live stream and highlights details plus team news

Celtic return to domestic action this weekend when they host Motherwell in the Premiership. Brendan Rodgers’ men lost 2-0 at home to Braga during the week and they will be desperate to rediscover the winning feeling against a Motherwell that has not lost this season. Here are all the details ahead of the match: The William Hill Premiership match between Celtic and Motherwell takes place on Sunday, October 5 at Celtic Park, Glasgow. Kick-off is at 3pm. Sky Sports and Premier Sports, the principal broadcast partners of the Premiership, have not chosen this match for live coverage. Celtic TV will be screening the match live for overseas viewers for £12.99. Sportscene will be screened on the BBC Scotland channel at 7.15pm on Sunday and will then be repeated at 11.45pm on BBC One Scotland. Celtic are still missing Alistair Johnston (hamstring) and long-term absentee Jota (knee). Stephen Welsh cannot face his parent club but Motherwell can bring captain Paul McGinn back into defence after injury. Elijah Just, Tom Sparrow, Callum Hendry and Callum Slattery are back in training and manager Jens Berthel Askou hopes at least one of them can make the squad. Sam Nicholson, Filip Stuparevic (both knee), Eseosa Sule, Jordan McGhee (both thigh) and Zach Robinson (Achilles) are long-term absentees. Calum Scott will be in charge of proceedings at Celtic Park and will be assisted by Calum Spence and Ross Anderson. Gavin Duncan is the VAR and will be assisted back at Clydesdale House by Gary Hilland.
