Fresh to strong and gusty southeast winds are also expected, with highs of 11 to 14 degrees. The rain will clear northeastwards this evening, leading to clear spells developing with some scattered showers, which will be heavy at times. Tonight will see lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees. Halloween will start off breezy with spells of wet weather moving over southern and eastern counties in the morning, but these will clear by midday. Sunny spells will develop throughout the afternoon, though there will be some scattered showers in places. Trick-or-treaters will be glad to hear that the evening is expected to be generally dry – but rain will start to feed into southern areas early on. Temperatures will reach highs of 11 to 14.
