It was a Westlife special on the Late Late Show on Friday night as Shane, Nicky, and Kian joined host Patrick Kielty . They appeared fresh off the announcement of their homecoming shows in Dublin and even more dates lined up at Belfast's SSE Arena . The band performed a medley of their hits on the show and also treated viewers to a world exclusive of their new single 'Chariot', which was released on October 24. On 25 years of the band, Kielty asked Kian what their standout memory is. The singer replied: “There's there's so many different moments... I think, a very special moment I definitely think that we had in the early years is we got to perform for the Pope, Pope John Paul II. "We got to bring our mums and obviously growing up in Ireland , very religious, we got to bring our mums and dads to that, and our mums got to come in and meet the Pope." He added: “We got to sing with Dolores as well from The Cranberries, which was an incredible memory. Obviously, she's passed on so I think we hold that memory fond to our hearts. “We sang at the Nobel Peace Prize, met Barack Obama there. "We've met some amazing people throughout the years."
