Amazon's cloud services unit, Amazon Web Services (AWS), is recovering early Monday morning following an outage that caused connectivity issues for companies and disrupted services for popular websites and apps. Among those impacted were video game Fortnite and social media app Snapchat. "We can confirm increased error rates and latencies for multiple AWS Services in the US-EAST-1 Region," AWS said at 3:51 a.m. ET in an update on its status page.
