Welcome to TechSparks 2025! Here’s all that’s happening on day 1

Namaskara Bengaluru! The capital of code, coffee, and courageous ideas is officially ready for TechSparks 2025. This year, YourStory is not simply gathering the Indian startup ecosystem; we are accelerating it. Over the next three days at Taj Yeshwantpur, ambition will meet ability, invention will shake hands with investment, and innovators will breathe life into ideas, as we set the context for ‘India 2030: Powered by AI’. As YourStory hosts the 16th edition of TechSparks—India’s largest startup-tech conference—our stages are set for some of the sharpest minds in AI, climate tech, consumer innovation, and digital infrastructure to decode what lies ahead and is worth building. On the inaugural day, November 6, expect to hear from the biggest innovators in India, starting with Mukesh Bansal, Founder and CEO, Nutrix AI, as he discusses what it takes to bring bold leadership and a global mindset to India’s AI ecosystem. Following this freewheeling conversation on AI, deep tech, R&D and science, YourStory will launch Tech30—the most definitive list of promising tech companies shaping India’s startup ecosystem. For the last 11 years, TechSparks has been one of the most sought-after startup recognition programmes in the country. Later in the day, Priyank Kharge, Hon’ble Minister of Electronics, IT, BT, and Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Government of Karnataka, will share how leadership, imagination, and inclusive policy are shaping the next decade of entrepreneurship. Next in line, in a panel discussion, we have Mohit Saxena, Co-founder and CTO of InMobi, and Sanjay Mohan, Group CTO of MakeMyTrip, discuss how AI is changing the art of user journey, and how companies are leveraging technology, design, and infrastructure tools to create seamless, intelligent digital experiences. As the day progresses, hear IndiQube founders walk you through the company’s journey—from being a bootstrapped startup to becoming a listed enterprise. Don't miss out the panel featuring Balaji Thiagarajan (CTO and Product Officer, Flipkart), Kshitij Khandelwal (Founder and CTO, Pixxel), Madhusudhan Rao (CTO, Swiggy), and Vijayant Rai (Managing Director, India, Snowflake) who will discuss how data cloud architectures, governance, and real-time intelligence are powering the next generation of AI-first enterprises. In a fireside chat, Rajan Anandan, Managing Director at Peak XV and Surge, will discuss building for the AI age, where he will decode how founders can navigate market shifts, capital cycles, technology, and talent to build resilient, high-impact companies that can compete globally while staying relevant locally. We also have Paranth Thiruvengadam and Shamik Sharma from Atlassian, who will explore how the Australian company is deepening its commitment to India by investing in world-class teams across engineering, product, and design. Arzan Singpurwalla, Lead of Channel Partnerships in Business Messaging at Meta, India, will guide attendees through the digital commerce wave that will shape the future—examining how messaging has evolved to transform how businesses connect and sell. He will also discuss how platforms like WhatsApp are enabling India’s digital economy to flourish through conversational commerce, harnessing the power of AI, automation, and messaging. On day one, the winners of ‘Hello, GCC Dev Premier League’—a pan-India hackathon and innovation challenge specifically for developers from GCCs—will also be announced. Other speakers for the day include Anand Jain, Co-founder of CleverTap; Adithyan RK, Co-founder and CEO of Hyring Inc.; Awais Ahment, Founder and CEO, Pixxel; and Raghav Chandra, Co-founder and CPTO, Urban Company, among others. So are you ready to dive in? Because TechSparks just got bigger and bolder! (Edited by Suman Singh)
