The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education has asked 182 candidates recommended for teaching posts under the West Bengal Central School Service Commission (WBCSSC) to collect their appointment letters on November 11 and 12, 2025. The announcement came after the Supreme Court's verdict in Baisakhi Bhattacharya (Chattopadhyay) vs. State of West Bengal and others, and verification of candidates’ testimonials. As many as 182 recommended candidates have to collect their appointment letters from the West Bengal Board on November 11 and 12 at Derozio Bhawan, Nivedita Bhavan Premises, Salt Lake, Kolkata, at 12 noon. Additionally, 47 candidates selected for Class 11 and 12 teaching posts are summoned on November 11, while 135 candidates qualified for Class 9 and 10 teaching vacancies will receive their appointment letters on November 12, 2025. It must be noted that candidates who fail to report on the prescribed date and time shall be treated as non-compliant and bear the whole responsibility.
