A water quality advisory in Vernon’s North BX area has been lifted Thursday afternoon. The Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) and Interior Health advised customers on Pearson, McIntosh, Spartan and Alain roads, and parts of MacDonald and Silver Star roads, that the advisory issued Tuesday has been rescinded. “Bacterial testing results have come back clear, and disinfection levels are within normal range in the distribution system,” the RDNO said Oct. 30. The advisory was issued due to a water main break in the area that resulted in a loss of water pressure. Questions can be directed to the RDNO utilities department at 250-550-3700.
