An elderly woman has lost her front gate in the latest of a series of escalating attacks on her property in southeast Queensland.
A man driving a distinctive blue Ford Falcon was captured on CCTV reversing up to the 68-year-old’s home on Downing Street, Browns Plains, before chaining his car to her front gate and ripping it from its hinges as he drove away.
The driver’s side door was painted black and had a smiley face spray-painted on it.
In the footage, a woman is seen running out onto the front yard as the driver, who wears a high-vis jacket, prepares to speed away with her front gate in tow.
He then performed a burnout as he fled the scene.
The woman has been targeted by four instances of wilful damage and hooning by various vehicles since July.
At about 12.15am on July 5, a small hatchback reversed into the woman’s front gate, leaving it badly damaged.
A few weeks later, on July 27, a vehicle with no bonnet or registration plates was captured hooning outside the home in the afternoon.

Yet another incident occurred at 3.05am on August 24, when a car was seen performing a number of burnouts before slamming into the gate.
The gate was pushed three metres up the driveway from the impact.
Police have urged anyone who recognises the Ford Falcon or has information about the other recent incidents at the property to come forward.
Queensland Police told Daily Mail the woman is cooperating with them and has reported all four incidents.
