Watch: Sahibzada Farhan’s ‘rocket launcher’ explodes in his own face; batter walks off in shame vs India

The 29-year-old Pakistan National Cricket Team opening batsman, Sahibzada Farhan, humiliated himself after his ‘rocket launcher’ celebration in the match against the India National Cricket Team.
The Pakistan National Cricket Team are currently taking on the India National Cricket Team in the second Super Four match of the Asia Cup 2025 at the Dubai International Stadium.
Sahibzada Farhan pulls off a rocket-launcher celebration
The opening batsman, Farhan, was destined to get out for a duck in the match against India, but Abhishek Sharma made a mess of a simple catch on the third ball of the innings.
Sahibzada Farhan made the most of the dropped catch, and he was seen playing an aggressive brand of cricket against the Indian bowlers.
He looked most superior among all the Pakistan batters, but he showcased that he is no different from other Pakistanis. Farhan displayed a childish and disgraceful celebration after completing his fifty in the match.
On the third ball of the 10th over, Sahibzada Farhan smashed a six off Axar Patel’s short-length delivery. After reaching the feat, he used his bat as a gun/ rocket launcher and fired a few shots.
This act of the batsman was quite hypocritical, as Pakistanis keep crying about keeping politics and cricket separate, but then do these kinds of disgusting and “terrorist-like” celebrations to show their real personality.
Meanwhile, the arrogant batsman got out in the 15th over in an embarrassing manner and finished his innings with a poor strike rate of 128.88. On the first ball of the over, Shivam Dube bowled a slower length delivery to Sahibzada Farhan outside off-stump.
The batter only managed to slice it off the toe-end and lost his gun(bat) in the process. Suryakumar Yadav made no mistakes while fielding and took a simple catch to send back Sahibzada for 58 runs off 46 balls.

Pakistan cricket is in a pathetic state right now – Danish Kaneria
Speaking to IANS ahead of the match between India and Pakistan, Danish Kaneria gave a reality check to the Pakistan Cricket Board, saying that the state of cricket in the country is pathetic.
“Pakistan cricket is in a pathetic state right now. This always happens: when there is an issue (handshake snub), instead of taking responsibility, they keep blaming others,” Kaneria said.
“The selectors were entrusted with the responsibility of 22 crore people. What team did you select? What coaching assignments did you give? What was your game plan, strategy, and approach?”
“Pakistan is not playing well as expected, while India is a top-tier team. Judging by their performance in the last game, it is clear that Pakistan’s team is not better than the Indian team,” he added.
