To mark the 164th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya, which is celebrated as Engineers Day, the Consulting Civil Engineers Association (CCEA), Kalaburagi, will, in association with Karnataka Professional Civil Engineers Association, organise a walkathon here on Sunday.

CCEA president J.H. Mishra and KPCEA member G.K. Murlidhar, addressing presspersons here on Friday, said that Deputy Commissioner Fauzia Tarannum will flag off the “health awareness walkathon”.

Nearly 200 people, including association members and engineers, will join the walkathon that will be taken out from Jagat Circle to Visvesvaraya Bhavan.

On Monday, the association will organize a blood donation camp at Visvesvaraya Bhavan.
