Christian Pulisic is a major topic of conversation after his injury against Australia and has now received strong commentary from a world soccer legend. Pulisic, 27, left in the first half-hour of the match in which the USMNT defeated Australia 2-1 in the October international break. According to CBS Sports , the AC Milan star will be out for at least two weeks with a hamstring injury. While Landon Donovan sent advice to the USMNT's #10, Theo Walcott made a strong comment about 'Captain America.' Walcott Praises Pulisic's Quality But Questions His Leadership In a recent appearance on the "It's Called Soccer" podcast, Walcott was questioned about Pulisic's role with Team USA and after being asked if he considers him a leader, he answered with a direct "no." However, he acknowledged the importance of the 27-year-old player and noted that Mauricio Pochettino must field him in a position where he can truly affect the game and must keep him happy. "I like him, and I always feel, why not get the best out of players and help them, and put them in areas where they're going to affect games, and not use up energy," Walcott said. "Particularly your star players, they're the game changers. (…) Get a bunch of players, the athletes, to work hard around them, get Pulisic in areas where he's going to affect the game, to keep him happy. Keep these guys happy in that environment, and don't overwork them," he added. "Because I really enjoyed him every time I've seen him. I think wingers these days, or those number 10s, I want him to be able to just always remember that kid in him. I think that's what he needs in him."
