Right now, the TCL Q7 QLED (2024) is on sale at Best Buy for $899 after an $800 discount.
It has full array local dimming and offers up to 1,300 nits peak brightness, plus at 85 inches from corner-to-corner it’s a huge screen for Sunday football games (or NHL, which is getting ready to start right now).
If you’re looking for a massive screen at a small price, this deal is worth considering. Please note that it’s a one-day deal, so you’ll need to make a decision quickly.
TCLQ7 85-inch: was $1,699 now $899 at Best Buy
The TCL Q7 is an awesome mid-range QLED TV that uses full array local dimming for good contrast and quantum dots for superior color vibrancy. For sports fans, it comes with a 120Hz native refresh rate and the powerful AiPQ Gen 3 Engine for better upscaling and motion interpolation. There’s also Google TV built in for Chromecast support and an overall solid user interface for watching all of the best content the internet has to offer., Plus, it allows you to send videos from your phone to the screen when connected to the same Wi-Fi network. For just under $900, it’s a solid deal.
TCL is known for keeping prices manageable with its mid-range models costing a fraction of the competition, and this one is no exception even at its full price. Snagging it for only $899 makes it rival the price of budget-friendly models but without the compromises those cheap TVs are forced to make.
We noted the numerous upgrades the TCL Q7 offers over the 2023 model, so there are definitely some goodies to get excited about. For example, it supports Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG — all of the major HDR formats.
While sound in a TV isn’t usually the best thing to worry about, since most people will want one of the best soundbars or home theater systems to enhance the experience, this TV does have a small subwoofer built in, which makes it more viable as an option if you don’t want to deal with hooking speakers to your TV. It even has an enhanced dialog mode to make it easier to hear people talking using the built-in speakers.
