Week 7 of the high school football season is a wrap and here are some of the standout performances from around the area.

Voting opens at 12 noon on Monday, Oct. 6 and will close on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 12 noon.
You may vote as many times as you like using the google form at the end of the nominations list.
The winner will be revealed every Thursday throughout the season.

Here are this week’s nominations (games played on Oct. 3)
Camereon Cartlidge, Walkertown
Cartlidge, a senior linebacker, had another huge performance in a 54-23 win at Bartlett Yancy.
He finished with 15 tackles, six tackles for loss and two sacks on defense and had 33 rushing yards and two touchdowns on five carries.
Mozes Morris, West Forsyth
Morris ran for 222 yards on 34 carries and scored the game-winning touchdown on a 10-yard run in overtime in West Forsyth’s 20-14 win against East Forsyth in the Central Piedmont 8-A/7-A Conference opener for both schools. Morris also had three receptions for 24 yards and a touchdown.
Brady Robinson, Glenn
Robinson, a senior quarterback, completed 14 of 18 passes for 232 yards and three touchdowns as the Bobcats opened Piedmont-Triad 6-A/5-A conference play with a 40-0 win against Atkins.
Mount Tabor defense
Mount Tabor opened Piedmont-Triad 6-A/5-A play with an impressive defensive performance in a 35-3 win against North Davidson.
The Spartans recorded three interceptions–one each by Jordan Byrd, Jaqarius Houston and Taryton Thacker–four sacks and seven tackles for loss. After giving up a field goal in the first quarter, they didn’t allow any more points the rest of the game.
Antonio Samuels, Reynolds
Samuels accounted for two of the Demons’ three touchdowns in a 22-6 win against Parkland in their CPC opener.
He rushed for 129 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries and also had a 15-yard touchdown reception as the Demons improved to 6-0.
Adrian Solomon Jr., East Forsyth
Solomon, a senior linebacker, was a menacing force for East Forsyth in Friday’s setback at West Forsyth.
He helped bottle up the West Forsyth offense for most of the game by recording 14 tackles, a sack, and a tackle for loss. Solomon currently leads the CPC 8-A/7-A with 78 tackles.
Grayson Treadway, Oak Grove
Treadway, a junior quarterback, completed 16 of 21 passes for 222 yards and three touchdowns in a 49-12 win against North Forsyth in the Piedmont-Triad 6-A/5-A opener for both teams.
