AL.com readers voted Bayside Academy’s Brennan Yamane as the Cunningham Bounds Coastal Player of the Week for Week 10 of the 2025 high school season. Yamane rushed for 122 yards and a pair of scores on 21 carries in the Admirals’ win over T.R. Miller. Saraland’s Sye Byrd (26 percent) was second followed by Baker’s Tate Graham (17 percent). Now, on to Week 11. Coaches can submit statistics following their games on Friday night or nominate players before noon each Saturday. Nominations must come from a coach or official team statistician. Here are this week’s Cunningham Bounds nominees: Will Allen, Bayside Academy: Allen recorded 13 tackles, 8 tackles for a loss and 6 sacks in the Admirals’ 50-0 win over Tuscaloosa Academy. Kade Carroll, South Choctaw Academy: Carroll rushed for 259 yards and 4 touchdowns on just five carries in a 62-20 win over Bessemer Academy. He scored on runs of 41, 75, 55 and 45 yards, all in the first half. Major Hudspeth, Gulf Shores: Hudspeth threw 6 TD passes as the Dolphins clinched a playoff berth with a 45-0 win over Murphy. Anthony “Tank” Jones Jr., St. Paul’s: In his final game in a St. Paul’s uniform, the Oregon 5-star EDGE commit accounted for three touchdowns, including a 3-yard jump pass with 9 seconds left, as the Saints edged Spanish Fort. Jones also ran for TDs of 6 and 7 yards. Joshua Jones, Baker: Jones caught seven passes for 116 yards and touchdowns of 18 and 16 yards in a win over Class 5A No. 2 Vigor. Jordan Poe, Satsuma: Poe rushed for 314 yards on 44 carries in the Gators’ Thursday win at Chickasaw. Tucker Tomlinson, St. Michael: The senior caught seven passes for 149 yards and a touchdown as the Cardinals beat UMS-Wright to finish a 10-0 regular season. Aaron Ward, Cottage Hill: Ward caught three passes for 53 yards and a TD and returned a kickoff for 90 yards and a score in a win over St. Luke’s. Conner Williams, Washington County: Williams threw 6 TD passes in a 51-6 win over Fruitdale. Remember to hit the “finish survey” button when you’ve completed your vote.
